Mondelez look for talented and passionate professionals wanting to join their company. There are several stages to their application process which we will cover.

Mondelez use the following tests in their selection process:

  • General ability test
  • Situational judgement test

Founded in America in 2012, Mondelez International is an American multinational confectionery, food, and beverage company. It consists of many food brands, and manufactures beverages, chocolate, confectionery and more. Mondelez employs approximately 83,000 people worldwide. While Mondelez employs many people of various skill sets, there is an extensive selection process in place to ensure only the most suitable candidates progress successfully and a high calibre of workforce is maintained. Psychometric testing is adopted throughout the recruitment process, as a means of screening out candidates who lack the abilities necessary for a career at Mondelez. Candidates will be told in advance what tests they will have to take, but typically it will be a general ability test (combination of numerical, verbal, logical) and an SJT.

The function of these tests is to screen out candidates without the adequate aptitude levels they are after, although different combinations of tests could be required depending on the level of role applied for.

Mondelez currently use SHL tests in their hiring process (correct at time of writing: 07/2022), you can always check up to see if this is still in the case.

Mondelez Numerical Reasoning Test

Mondelez's numerical reasoning tests will assess a candidate's ability to analyse numerical data via charts and tables. The test will be timed and multiple choice.

Mondelez Verbal Reasoning Test

Mondelez's verbal reasoning tests will assess your verbal comprehension and analysis skills. You will be presented with a passage of text and be asked whether various statements are 'true', 'false' or 'cannot say' based on the text in the passage.

Mondelez Logical Reasoning Test

Mondelez's logical reasoning tests will assess your problem solving skills. You will be presented with a broken sequence and be asked what shape, from a selection of answer options, is the missing shape to complete the sequence.

Mondelez Situational Judgement Test

Mondelez's situational judgement tests will assess your judgement skills. A work-place situation will be explained to you along with possible actions you could take, it will be your job to decide which is the most appropriate response to take.

Mondelez Application Process Stages

Stage 1

Application

Applications are made online and require candidates to provide their contact details, education and work experience. They are also required to complete a few screening questions, which are used to ensure that the candidate is suited to their selected role.

Stage 2

Online Aptitude Tests / Interview

Selected candidates may then need to undertake a selection of psychometric tests; including some of the following: numerical, verbal and diagrammatic reasoning, a situational judgement test and personality questionnaire. You will also be required to attend an interview, this is either an online interview (via webcam) or a telephone interview. This is not the main in-depth interview that will occur on-site but is a pre-screening interview, so it is common for there not to be an interviewer but instead you may be asked to record answers for questions that appear on the screen.

Stage 3

Interview

Later on in the selection process, this is often followed by a second interview which will be either technical/functional or competency based. It is recommended that candidates adopt the STAR approach when formulating answers, while remaining mindful of the Mondelez competencies: Leadership, Commercial Awareness, Thought Processing, Delivery, Personal Effectiveness, and Personal Style. These interviews allow opportunities to demonstrate strengths, areas of interest and experience.

Stage 4

Assessment Centre / Interview

The final stage of their application process is an on-site interview. Depending on the role you will also have to complete some sort of presentation or project.

If you were lucky enough to pass through all the stages and Mondelez decide you are the candidate they want for the job, then they will give you a job offer for you to accept.

Answered questions

Are these tests suitable for Mondelez?

Yes. Mondelez use SHL numerical reasoning tests to assess applicants in the recruitment process. The practice tests we provide have been designed to mimic the numerical reasoning test's style to create an environment similar to the real assessment. This provides you with confidence that the questions you practice with us now are an accurate reflection of the real assessment.

How difficult are your tests?

The same difficulty as real tests. Generally real employer selection tests don't differ that much in terms of difficulty which is why they compare your score against norm groups. Our practice tests are pitched roughly at graduate level, but this means they are actually suitable for preparing for all levels of job: entry; apprentice; graduate; senior; director.

Are they compatible with my Mac / Tablet / Phone?

Yes, and PC, and Linux and smartphone and Android and...everything. Our practice tests will run on all systems and they are responsive so they will work well on tablets and smartphones too!

How many times can I take the tests?

Unlimited. You can take our practice tests as many times as you like; there is no limit. But to be honest, after taking the same test a few times you start to remember the answers, so that’s why we have lots of tests.
