Part 4.3: What to do if the test session goes badly?

If a test goes badly for reasons beyond your control then you must inform the employer straightaway.

When to tell your employer

If you feel that your test score was distorted by the testing conditions, nerves or other issues you need to tell the employer immediately so that they can act on your concerns. Depending on the nature of the circumstances the employer may choose to offer to test you again or take the issues into account when interpreting the score.
